For clubs

What Free Sailing can do for your club

Put what you have room for — a taster, a crew seat, an open day, a course — in front of the people near you who are looking for exactly that, and hear back from them.

Ways in

Post a taster, a crew seat, volunteering, an open day or a course. It goes on your club's page and wherever people look for a way onto the water, and anyone can answer it. You see every answer, with the way the person left to reach them.

Courses and tasters

Put on a taster or a course with its dates and places, and keep track of who's instructing and which boat they're in.

Events

Publish anything with a date — a race, an open day, a talk, a film night. It shows on your page and on the events page, marked as from the club; only the club can publish under its name. Change a date or cancel, and every page shows it. A calendar holds everything you've published.

Volunteers

Every job that needs somebody — safety boat, galley, rescue cover, gate — who's on it, and what's still short.

Questions

Anyone can ask your club a question on its page. Answer it there or from your board, and the answer is marked as from the club.

Deals

A cheaper first course, a free taster, a day at the club rate. We'll check it before it goes on the deals page.

Who's looking near you

How many people near your harbour want a first sail, to crew or to learn, and what they said they're after — and, on your public page, what nobody near you offers yet.

Your page and your team

Your own site linked, your contacts, your events and ways in, in one place. Add a colleague by email so more than one of you runs it. A bell on your board tells you when something needs you.

World Sailing Day

Say you're taking part, pick or create the event you're putting on, tell your own members, say when you have photographs of the day, and afterwards say how it went.
